Help: CGExtensions module "incompatible" (1.4.1 -> 1.5 upgrade)

Post by pilot »

Hi all,

I am running CMSMS 1.4.1 "Spring Garden", and an trying to upgrade to the latest version (obviously one version at a time tho).  I see that as of version 1.5 there is no longer any built-in RSS feed capabilities, and I am supposed to install CGExtensions and CG FeedMaker.  As you can see in the first screenshot (see links below), CGExtensions is "incompatible" with my site.  Any ideas why this is happening and how to fix the problem?  As an aside, I would really appreciate any help you can give me with changing our current RSS setup (using the default built-in generator) to the new way required by 1.5 using these two modules?  Thanks a lot everyone!

According to your system info page you are still on 1.4.1. Upgrade the core and then add the new modules that you need.

I have made a copy of my site at another webhost and done the upgrade to 1.5, but the homepage is filled with warnings and CGExtensions is still listed as "incompatible" in the Module Manager. :(
