Hey all,
I am developing a site with CMSMC 11.1 and it's quite slow to load site and CMS. I've read posts and its proberly due to the site being on a shared server with the MYSQL being located elsewhere (or something like that).
Does anyone have any suggestions to speed it up at all?

I wish I did have a good explanation for it. 0.11.1 is not very SQL intensive, so I'm not sure where the problem is. It is a little expensive in terms of memory, but even then, it's not THAT bad.
Unfortunately, any CMS type solution is going to have the overhead that straight html/php doesn't. Web hosts should be taking this into consideration, thought it's becoming increasingly obvious that they dont.
