CGCalendar 1.1 Recurring Events Not Working

Hello! I have a client that needs to recurring events in the CGCalendar module to work correctly. The module works fine for non-recurring but never posts anything beyond the first meeting for recurring events for some reason. It lists the recurring event as recurring but for some reason it never is marked as a parent event and therefore never has any child events.

I have tried removing and reinstalling the module but it does not help. My system details are below.

CMS MS 1.5.4
PHP  4.3.11
MySQL 5.0.67.d7

Gidday David. Have you had any luck? I am having same problem. I will keep an eye on this post and let you know if I come up with anything. Surely we are not the first to encounter this problem.
