When i make a page inactive, it still shows in the previos/next links.
Can anyone help..

what version are you on.... IIRC was that fixed in later versions....

How do you call the cms_selflink, as a quick test, shows that the page isnt showing when the page is marked as inactive.

ok..i have seen what the problem is....i had made the parent page inactive....
but not its subpages....
so all the subpages are still visible in the previous/next links..
should that happen?

i will just make allthe subpages also inactive..

Making a parent inactive does not make the children inactive.
If all else fails, use a bigger hammer.

If you want to show next/prev only for siblings, then you can install CGSimpleSmarty, and use some logic from that to only show next/prev, when the pages are on the same level....
