Moving to a new server problem

Help with getting the CMS CORE package up and running. This does not include 3rd party modules, PHP scripts, anything downloaded via module manager or from any external source.

Moving to a new server problem

Post by berkoWitZ »

Hi, first question :) I´ve been using CMSMS with success for a while until now, I think is a small problem, I hope..

I just move a CMSMS site to a new server using the "How to move your CMSms installation to a new server"...everything went well, I changed the permissions on the files, import the DB using phpMyAdmin and edited the config.php with the new DB info and I can login to the admin area where I can see all the pages and info I had in the other server.

The weird thing is, the site is completely blank :-[ As I said I can see all the db info in the admin but the site is blank, is not reading the DB info, which could be the reasong for this to happen? I´m using the latest CMSMS version 1.5.3 and PHP 4.3 running on Linux..

Any info really aprecciated.

Can you get to the admin?  If so, did you clear the cache.  Are you positive the permissions on tmp/cache and tmp/templates_c are correct?
