hi there!
now if you use the search module (cmsms 1.5.2) the results are ordered by word count/weight.
in most cases thats pretty good! but is it possible to bypass this and order
the searchresult simply by the page title or in my case the news title?
I would appreciate any help!
thanks a lot!!
greetings

Re: search result order
The results template has a weight call in it and a sample of how to get the news search results, commented out, so you could play with these settings, if it gets messed up you can always revert back to the default template...
Re: search result order

if I search somthing I get a resultlist with the page titles and the page links.
the order of this list depents on the weight respectively word count.
that's well known.
I want the result list is independent from the word count but in alphabetic order!
for example if I search for a person name I should get a list
in alphabetic order.
sorry for my bad explanation.
please help!
