linefeed problem

linefeed problem

Hello,

I am having a problem with line feeds. My tinyMCE does not generate them , if i put them in by 'hand' in HTML source they are also not retained.
What can it be?
I'm running CMS Made Simple 1.4. I'm using PHP 4.4.1, and MySQL 5.1.6 This is all working with Apache 2.2.4 running on Linux with Mysql  5.0.27.
