Moved to new server, content displays but nothing comes up to edit.

Help with getting the CMS CORE package up and running. This does not include 3rd party modules, PHP scripts, anything downloaded via module manager or from any external source.

Moved to new server, content displays but nothing comes up to edit.

Post by wakewatcher »

I followed the documentation http://wiki.cmsmadesimple.org/index.php/How_to#How_to_move_your_CMSms_installation_to_a_new_server_.281.29 but am having problems.  I'm on 1.5.1.  I'm scratching my head on this one.  Assumed it must be a path problem but nothing is jumping out at me. CMS displays everything find but when I try to edit any of the content  [content->pages->specific content] I get a blank page and my browser reports "done" in its status.  What's odd is the first time I tried to edit content it notified me that my CMSmailer was mis configured.  SO I went there and fixed it.  Now as mentioned when I try to edit content I don't even get that just a blank page.

I'm a bit search box dysfunctional and didn't find anything when I tried a search.  Any ideas?  -thx-

Anything usefull in the http error log ?
Which supported admin browsers have you tried ?
Gogin to Content->pages, does it display the list/hierarchy of the pages ? Please describe more what works, what can/has be done so far and what doesn't.
