I know this is an old topic resurrected but I found it on google and installed it to make a horizontal css menu for my first attempt at using CMS. I ported it from an existing design and its working well apart from one aspect.
The height value of my root menu is being passed down into the dropdown menus. I want them to be thinner that the root (which uses an image as a background whereas my dropdown doesn't, just a background colour)
I managed to give them their own width value in the css but using the height attribute isn't having any effect.
Any help would be great.

Are the submenus inheriting a padding setting you set for the top level?
