Image Manager displays page view instead of images
Image Manager displays page view instead of images
Just updated 1.4.1 to 1.5.2, and everything appears to be working correctly, except that my Image Manager now displays a page from my site with a 404 error, instead of displaying the uploaded images. Below that is the normal "upload file" and "create new folder" fields/buttons.
I did a pretty exhaustive forum search both using the built-in search and the Google search hack, and found some information that it might be related to PHP Safe Mode, but my System Information screen reports that Safe Mode is OFF. PHP Memory Limit was another suggestion, but it is 100MB, which I think is plenty.
The only setting that is flagged in System Information is my script execution time, which is set at 30 seconds. Could this be causing the problem?
My image uploads paths are correct and double-checked.
I have never had this issue before on this site or any others, Windows or Linux, and the rest of this site runs perfectly.
This install is on a Linux server running Apache2 and MySQL5.
PHP 5.2.6
GD v2
Would appreciate any help to get this fixed...
Thanks!

Re: Image Manager displays page view instead of images
Completely reuploaded all 1.5.2 files via FTP, ran the upgrade script again. Cleared the cache. Ensured all modules are up to date.
Still no luck.
Here is the URL of the page shown in the Image Manager frame:
http://mysite.com/lib/filemanager/Image ... b9326&dir=
The referring URL is listed as:
http://mysite.com/admin/imagefiles.php?_s_=1e0b9326
Everything was working fine prior to the upgrade from 1.4.1 to 1.5.2, which makes me think the problem is related to the upgrade, but I can't think of anything that's wrong.

Here is the system info (attached). This issue still has not been fixed. Any ideas?

Re: Image Manager displays page view instead of images
Still looking for any ideas here. I'm stumped. The rest of the site works perfectly, so this Image Manager thing is really baffling me. Upgrading to 1.5.3 did not help. I'm hoping maybe 1.6 will fix it, but I'd still like to know the root cause.
Would be happy to provide admin access to someone if you'd like to see it for yourself.
Thanks in advance.

Re: Image Manager displays page view instead of images
I disabled the 404 and I just get a simple URL could not be found load into the page ... So, it's clearly something to do with paths, the path should be /imagefiles.php?sp_=0d2a43e4 ....
I've had a look but don't know how to sort it out.
Anyone?

I haven't upgraded the problem site to 1.6 yet... I'll report back after.

Re: Image Manager displays page view instead of images
Issue solved in release 1.6.6
*** FIXES RELATED TO session.use_cookies == off ****
NOTE: This is not a recommended setting, and future versions of CMSMS will not in any way
support this setting. Please contact your hosts to ensure that this setting is enabled
properly.
– This issue has probably been the cause of many tinyMCE issues in the past.
– The install and upgrade routines will fail if this setting is off
– The install and upgrade routines now explicitly check for this setting.
– TinyMCE 2.2.5 now supports session.use_cookies == off (for now)
– ImageManager no longer displays the login screen with session.use_cookies == off
