CMSMS is really great ! Topic is solved

Hello everybody,

I was looking for a really simple CMS for two full days and I was so disappointed that I was nearly to write mine myself.

And yesterday, I just found CMSMS... and it was great. It's just what I was looking for ! Thank you so much for your work.

Anyway, I need two things that are not availble ATM :

- e-commerce
- multilingual support (the same page available in multiple languages, with a default fallback)

If someone is working on those things, I can maybe give him a hand and try to see what I can do.
I've seen the "oscommerce port" but I'm not sure I fully understand. It's not working for me (reported bug)

thank you for suggesting pimenu. I will try it when waiting for a real multi-lingual support, as Patricia has said.

Now, I will look for a good e-commerce solution   It's really fun to use CMSMS. You cannot imagine how happy I was to find it. I was nearly to cry

I've looked in database and found in table cms_content_props in third column a field named prop_name. Actually this field contents only content_en.

And found in lib/Contenttypes/ Content.inc.php

$this->mProperties->Add("string", "content_en"); //For later language support

If there would be an option to fill this field manually (like content type) the most work is done. Then it should be easy to control the page over this field.

I'm not a real coder (I'm learning) but I think for a developer who knows cmsms source this would be an easy (and short) job.

Yeah, that's about right.  The infrastructure for content is there, it's just a matter of redoing a lot of the pieces for the admin and also frontend stuff will need some major adjustments for it all to come together properly.

My cousin has just been teached Spip for 2 days and not started anything... so he too started crying when I told him about cmsms...
