I have copied CMS Made Simple from a Windows installation of PHP to a standard linux host, and can not seem to get the darn thing to work. I can get a default install of CMSMS working fine on new host, but encounter a couple of errors first connecting to db, and now I get:
Fatal error: Call to a member function Alias() on a non-object in /home/idata/public_html/users/marketgauge/cms/modules/MenuManager/MenuManager.module.php on line 154
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Also, I would love to find an expert in CMSMS who I could get in touch with from time to time (obviously I would be willing to pay a reasonable hourly). Please PM me or contact me on yahoo using hb9393

Re: re: moving CMS-MS to another host, issues with config file
One option would be to have the installer, create the config.php file again.
Make sure that you NOT create tables and NOT install default content... With these two unset, it will only fill the config.php based on the server it is on, so no manual path-modifications to be done, etc...
