and another italian holiday property -- a water mill -- moved to CMSms

Post by backwoodsman »

Going live around now, though still a little work to do on it.

    http://en.mulinocarletti.com

Similar to the other I posted a week or so back, but different graphics.  Not sure about the typeface, but do want to use a serifed roman for the body text here.

Now all I have to do is the italian translations of both...  But do tell me what doesn't work and feel free to pick up the typos...

Cmsms details:

Cms Version: 1.5.1

Installed Modules:

    * CMSMailer: 1.73.14
    * FileManager: 0.4.3
    * MenuManager: 1.5.3
    * ModuleManager: 1.2.1
    * News: 2.9.1
    * nuSOAP: 1.0.1
    * Printing: 0.2.6
    * Search: 1.5.2
    * ThemeManager: 1.0.8
    * TinyMCE: 2.4.10
    * FormBuilder: 0.5.6
    * HitCounter: 1.0.4

Hi there,

I am using FF 3.0.5.

What I see on the first page is attached in this message (the text looks rambled...). Name of file is riccardo.jpg

Thanks for the comment, Anne-Mieke.  I assume you are commenting on the font being ragged.  I changed the font spec to omit
one font and it seems better.  I am not sure what is best to get reasonably clean serifed fonts across varying platforms.  The first font listed is now Times New Roman -- certainly not what I would choose, but I assume it will be available on windoze boxes too.
I suppose I had better look up what is in the MS base font package.

Hi Richard,

This is an interesting page about the use of fonts and their use in web sites: http://www.ampsoft.net/webdesign-l/WindowsMacFonts.html
