Draw soccer practice

Post by Jorco »

Hi,

I'm working on a database for my soccer practices.
I would like to make them available for other trainer/coaches and put them all online.
Just got a problem, i don't like to draw all my practices in paint/fireworks/photoshop etc.

Is there anyone that would like to help me with my project?

I'm searching for a flash-application, or an freeware soccer drawing application, where i can easilly make my practices and save them as image.

Some examples:
www.insidesoccer.com -> interactive -> asb
www.soccer-trainer.nl

If there is anyone that would like to help, just give a shout :)

greetings

You really shouldn't need to "draw" your schedule you could look into the Calendar module or the soon to be released CGCalendar module.
If all else fails, use a bigger hammer.

I think Jorco is talking about a way to visually display soccer strategies... I don't think it is related to a sort of calender... or am I on the wooden trail?

You may be correct. It could be a language barrier situation. By practices, I thought he meant the practice itself not the "Plays"

Hi Jorco,

you could look for something like a SVG drawing tool... I heard there is a module for drupal doing some drawing like this (called "drawing API" or something). However I have no clue how it works and haven't tried it.

I guess there is nothing ready as of now for CMSMS, but if you are a keen programmer, you might give it a shot.

Google for SVG drawing tool... probably you can find a stand-alone-tool that you can implement into CMSMS later on?

On http://www.emanueleferonato.com/2007/01/08/create-a-flash-draw-game-like-line-rider-or-others-part-1/ there is some drawing posible that might be a start. However from the looks of it, there is still a lot of extra drawing tools to be made for a trainer sketching tool.

Or this: http://www.mainada.net/inputdraw. Nah, still a long way.

Ooops, my bad :)  I have no idea, I'd check out what Duketown and nhaack linked you to.
