Why do I get some kind of, http://www.swisssaloninc.com/images/bk.swf, adblock at the top?...

Because you have flash block I'd think...

*******eidt*************

sorry users with flash block or ad block are not and will not be supported... not unless there is a way to block flash block or adblock...  but that is not likely to happen... plus the site comes back if you turn javascript ...

Why you may ask?... flash may be misused by some sites making flash block or ad block needed... but if that site is misusing it then you shouldn't be there anyway... My2cents and My clients as well...

Flash is only growing in use by designers... plus My2Cents is if you are worry about flash you should be more worried about js.. it can be just as destructive in the right hands...

Actually I just have adblock and it puts the little adblock image/link so it can be blocked, I was wondering what was using flash...

If it's the menu there are less obtrusive ways to do that...

No the swf is the background... for video and moving site backgrounds... it's a design trick I've been working on for a while...

I've noticed a quite few things you could improve here:

- Proper Titles for each pages (Swiss Salon Inc - Home, Swiss Salon Inc - Employment, etc... maybe even add short description like Swiss Salon Inc - Employment Opportunities, Swiss Salon Inc - Nail Pedicures and Manicures)

- Top image is too short compared to page width - creating inconsistency in layout design.

- Get rid of validation links on bottom page

- Need to mention location (city, state, country) in contact page - even mention it in the home page.

- Perhaps virtual tours or at least some photos of the salon. (Hire a professional photographer)

- Not sure about the theme - feels too masculine especially with the tone of blue and the swirl thing in the background.

Have you looked at this with js off? For some reason something drops way down bottom which I'm sure you find way around.

@phreerider

>>>Proper Titles for each pages ...

That is next on the list of things... This is a phased project...

>>>Get rid of validation links on bottom page
That is done at end of phase two...  ;)

>>>Need to mention location (city, state, country) in contact page - even mention it in the home page

Content is the client one of responsibilities on this one but funny you said something on this... I just got the email with it this morning...

Most sites I do are phased... so they would be  "never" done.... so I thought I'd just post on the end of the phases...

No problem. I knew it was something you could easily fix. I have no-script on so I'll see these first thing when entering sites.
