[Solved] One question about newly moved site..Mysql possible..

Post by mobilexhtml »

Hi

I just moved my site, and of course I ran into some trouble...

I have narrowed it down to possible mysql error from this thread: http://forum.cmsmadesimple.org/index.ph ... 051.0.html

This is how my menu looks like when I log in to my cms site:

--Add Me - module:News string:articles----Add Me - module:News string:categories----Add Me - module:News string:customfields--
--Add Me - module:News string:summarytemplate----Add Me - module:News string:detailtemplate----Add Me - module:News string:formtemplate----Add Me - module:News string:browsecattemplate----Add Me - module:News string:default_templates--
--Add Me - module:News string:options--

Any idea how to solve this ? My host don't.. (Hostgator..)

-Me

Try running the "upgrade" routine.  I had an issue just yesterday with similar messages, thought it was not from a move - I was trying to get "pretty urls" to work - didn't but tomorrow is another day.

anyway. I ran the upgrade from 1.5 to 1.51 and it seemed to reset whatever was incorrect in my config.php file.  All worked fine after that.

Worth a shot, possibly

Thank you very much for the tip.. It worked...  ;D

I lost all my work, but at least the site is working and I have backed up all my stuff before, and will copy paste it all over to my new host..

Sorry to hear you lost everything.  Did you do an install or an upgrade.

My upgrade left everything intact.

Sorry to cause you the copy/paste thing :)

Dan
