Errors and malfunction after 1.5 and later 1.5.1 upgrade

I've upgraded my site to the newest release (1.5.1 from 1.4.1 though 1.5) and now there are all sorts of problem with the site. Every time I make some changes in the system I get this tag error:
string(121) "Smarty error: [in template:19 line 38]: syntax error: unrecognized tag 'Statistics' (Smarty_Compiler.class.php, line 590)"

There are some problems with the news module aswell. The datestamp does not show, even though it is the same settings as I had in version 1.4.1. The TinyMCE editor does not show the toolbar either. Used to work.

Has anyone got a clue for why this is?

strange, check if you have later version of module and report in bug tracker of module if persist

In announce release there is a note and in News help there is the way for modify your template
