menu active and news

Hello, how do you do...

You know when you click on a menu item, this will be active, so the style can be changed for each section. If you are in 'Contact' section, the menu item 'Contact' is highlighted.

So. If I am in Contact section (whith menu highlighted) and I click on a news item, the details news page still highlihgts the Contact link in main menu... Is there a way to 'un-highlight' the menu item if you are in a news detail page??

So do you use detailpage="yourdetailpage" option on your news module call? If not it will show the news detail on current page you are on. Look for Menu help how to use detailpage option. You could also make new page that is not visible in menu that you use as news detailpage.
