TinyMCE WYSIWYG Problem -removing empty tags

Help with getting the CMS CORE package up and running. This does not include 3rd party modules, PHP scripts, anything downloaded via module manager or from any external source.

TinyMCE WYSIWYG Problem -removing empty tags

Post by smriyaz »

Hi There,
I've a problem with TinyMCE in my latest version of CMS MS, which is, when add any empty tags to style my code, The editor removes that empty tag. I've tried switching off the WYSIWYG option but when I re-open it to edit the contents, it opens the editor with WSIWYG and it removes the tag again. For example:

Some contents here

some more contents here

In this example it removes the completely. It's annoying. What might be the problem? is there any solution to make the editor without WYISWYG by default?

thanks in advance.

I don't like the behaviour of TinyMCE myself. It screws up too much (probably because i don't know either how to use it properly, i admit). So i turned it off in the My Preferences/User Preferences menu. Select WYSIWYG to use: none

Is there any solution to work with TinyMCE without completely switching it off?
