News Module --> File Upload --> Select from server

Hi,

is there a way to force the news module to let the admin choose an imagefile which is already on the server instead of an upload from his harddrive? The problem is, that i always have to upload the images twice because i cannot use the images which are already on the server for my news. What i need is something like a filepicker.

Any ideas?
