Richard Powell's http://themes.cmsmadesimple.org/menu_manager_options.html tutorial is clear, but seems to be based on another version of cmsms.
Thanks!

No, this is (still) valid and works the way it is explained.

Thanks, Nils.
A little more info for anyone who's following this.
A statement might read, for example:
{menu template='simple_navigation.tpl' number_of_levels='1' includeprefix="home,our-services,about-us,faq"}
The aliases, for example' about-us', used to specify pages to be included in a menu, are set in Content » Pages » Edit Page: Options

Nonnus
You need to be more specif about what it is you have tried or what you want to do, the menu tag, how many pages you want shown, your menu/page structure, what ver. cmsms, and anything other relevant info to help us help you...
PS. to get the alias that is assigned to a page go to Content > Pages and hover over the page name, this way you don't have to do the alias yourself...
