mySQL access denied

HI,

For some reason i'm getting the following error at stage3 (having enabled error messages)?

localhost: Access denied for user 'yatescan_cms'@'localhost' (using password: YES)

i have set up the db and given full rights to the user i can modify the DB through phpmyAdmin and created the DB through cpanel?

would anyone have any ideas why i am getting the error and any remidies

thanks for getting back to me, but i had wronyl assumed that when i created a user and cpanel had added a prefix of the database name it had also done it to the password which was not the case.

All up and running now and looking forward to getting stuck in.

Correction: cPanel CAN add username prefixes to db names. Depends on the settings of your hostingcompany.
