4 pages with diff Submenus(SOLVED)

Can anyone help em with this? I just installed the CMS and even tho I looked through the documents and read about the submenu

I still don't understand it much.. what I'm trying to do is have a horizontal menu at the top, and when 1 of the links are clicked it goes to a different page with a submenu on the left side..when those links are clicked the menu should remain until one of the links on the top menu are clicked.

Can anyone help?

Menus in CMS Made Simple are generated by the Menu Manager module.
In the admin console go to Layout -> Menu Manager in the menu and click the help link; the module has an extensive help page.
I'd suggest experimenting with the possible parameters and available menu templates.
