moving cmc:ms ... nightmare

I developed a site in a subdirectory - becuase the site is live but the original page was to a member only login area.

So I developed

http://www.omegawomenscenter.com/clients/index.php

Now that everything is done - I'm ready for it to go to the top level dir.

SO I ftp'd all the clients/* files to my hard drive ... then ftp'd everything back to the public_html level.

Then I changed all the paths in the config.php file - I even renamed the admin to (metaadmin) cause we already had an admin for the login stuff.

Now I'm getting Smary Template errors - and I don't know why the files names have all those strange characters in them ?

ANy clues - of what else I need to change to make this work ? Something in the DB perhaps ? Did I miss something in the config ?

Delete all files in  tmp/cache/  and  tmp/templates_c/
and check permissions of folders
