I'm repairing a crashed site.
My fred.com address shows up as http://x.x.x.x/~username on the front page (index.php) only.
When I follow links on the site, I then get http://fred.com/index.php?page=nextfred etc as expected.
If I click on the home page link I then go to http://fred.com
I have checked the setting in config.php and the http://x.x.x.x/~username string does not exist anywhere in the file, and neither does x.x.x.x
I have also cleared the cache through the global settings, and am now at the limits of my meagre experience.
What would be the next step people would take to find why x.x.x.x/~username shows up on that first page?
Andrew
