I was wondering if it were possible to edit the current Content Editing Page with a module. I want to change the way the meta data is entered, but I would prefer not to edit the page so that I can continue to get updates easily. I would just want to add a field or two to the page and remove one. Then all my data would be stored in a seperate table linked to the module. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you so much.

Would it be possible to do this with an event handler and then throw different text in place of a Smarty template variable?
