double content? what am I doing wrong?

Hi,

First attempt w/CMSMS ... I managed to get a template in place but my content is repeating itself in each column of my page:

Plus, I can't get rid of the default content that came with the CMSMS which is showing up on the top of my page above my template.

Please tell me how to go about fixing this?

It looks like you have multiple {content} blocks in your template.  If you have multiple content blocks, only one should be called {content}, the rest should be something like {content block='rightcolumn'} {column block='top'} etc.

Ok, thanks. I've renamed the right column as you specified.  But how do I get the content I want to go on the left column into the left column and the content I want in the right column into the right column.

Next, how do I remove the content that showing above my template?
