[solved] upgrade from 1.0.2 Maui

Help with getting the CMS CORE package up and running. This does not include 3rd party modules, PHP scripts, anything downloaded via module manager or from any external source.

[solved] upgrade from 1.0.2 Maui

Post by quartney »

I'm upgrading from 1.0.2 Maui.  First, can I upgrade straight to 1.3.1?  Let me say that I tried to do so, and there are some issues.  Besides the site not looking right, when I login to admin, it says Maui at the bottom, so obviously something isn't right.

How exactly would I do a clean install?  I get that I install the 1.3.1 files after removing all the 1.0.2 files, but I'm a newb and am wondering if the procedure for doing a clean install is written out anywhere.

Feeling overwhelmed!

You don't have overwrite version.php and maybe many others.

Depend too of your installed modules.
Pay attention to News template (now in database and not in file)
My advice is to try in a local environment and move after in production
