Site displays correctly in IE7 but not FireFox

Post by beanthere »

I have inherited management of a CMSMS site and I am starting to be able to get around in it, but for some reason I can't find why it is displaying better in IE than FF. Usually not the case.

URL: http://www.centerstageindy.com/

I would also like to make this site have a fixed width of about 800px, but I can't figure out where to make that happen either. Yes, I am still learning some of this stuff (CSS, etc.) so please bear with me. We all have to start somewhere. Is it the Smarty base that may be throwing me off?

Style sheet below:

Well you have inherited a mess, first you need to convert it to divs and get rid of all the table layout crap, IE will take any kind of crap you can throw at it and guess what you were trying to do...

My services are available for very reasonable rates... ;)

In your template..make sure it is all wrapped in:

-- all of your other stuff --

I quickly did it in Firebug and it seemed to snap everything back into place
