hi, im a new user and i have a site that works in domain.com/cms , and would like to transfer it to newdomain.com
is there a list of steps i should follow in order for the transfer to be done without problems?
i suppose i just need to gzip all CMSMS files, copy them over to the new domain,
export the mysql database using phpmyadmin, and then create a blank database with the same info on the new domain, where I will import the database back
would really appreciate your advice if there is anything i'm missing, i could not find information after some research
all the very best
george

Have you read this?...
http://wiki.cmsmadesimple.org/index.php ... New_Server
I've always found it helps to put the original install folder in and run /install/upgrade.php after a move....
