[solved] Installation failure: Permission denied

Hello

I am starting my third CMSMS website application using the same set of downloads of CMSMS version 1.2.3, and using the same host and type of hosting account.

This time though  the install seems to have failed. I have uploaded all the files to the server (twice in fact!) using FTP commander, as I have done successfully in the past.

I have tried to install at www.*************/install/index.php and I get the error message:

Warning: main(/home/******/public_html/lib/misc.functions.php): failed to open stream: Permission denied in /home/******/public_html/install/index.php on line 29

Fatal error: main(): Failed opening required '/home/******/public_html/lib/misc.functions.php' (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/******/public_html/install/index.php on line 29

Can anyone help please?

It would appear that those files are missing or corrupt. You need to upload them again.

What I did was to unpack the download again and upload the new copies of the folders. It works!

I am surprised though because the previous copy of the program was one I had used twice successfully.
