Location of image files

Help with getting the CMS CORE package up and running. This does not include 3rd party modules, PHP scripts, anything downloaded via module manager or from any external source.

Location of image files

Post by AnneDonnelly »

Hi,

I've been playing about with CMSms on my local machine and all seems to work fine.

Now I've installed on the webspace provided by my ISP. The problem I have is that they don't allow image files to be located with the cgi-bin directory. So the interface works but doesn't display the icons or stylesheets.

Is there a parameter somewhere to define where the image files are located ? I can locate them on the same server but I need to be able to specify a path outside of the cgi-bin structure.

Note I'm talking about the standard images that come with the CMSms interface. I haven't tried designing any pages yet.

Thanks for any help.

Because that's where my ISP require executable scripts to be installed.

Thanks Patricia.

Installing in root seems to have worked.
