openWYSIWYG editor module

Post by bruce »

It would be great if someone could implement a module to use openWYSIWYG (http://www.openwebware.com/wysiwyg/demo.shtml) in CMSms.

Any brave coder?  :)

Thanks in advance.

Is there a certain feature about it that you need or is there some other reason you want to use this editor than the ones that are currently out there? I have looked at the demo is quite honestly, I don't see anything impressive that would make me want to add it as a module.

Well, I haven't tested it intensivelly, but it seems to be MUCH more stable than TinyMCE, and faster than FCKeditor.

I'm using TinyMCE for some projects and it ends messing up the content, specially if you hace some nested lists with two ore more levels of nesting.

I think openWYSIWYG worths a try, at least to compare it with the rest.
