Bug with CART module

Hello,

Trying to integrate the Products/Cart/Orders modules for a small boutique.
Found a small bug.
When adding the same product into the cart several times, it is adding a line each time instead of only adding quantities...
(eg: a line for 10 dogs, and another for 10 dogs... instead of one line for 20 dogs .... or rats if you prefer

Perhaps you have noticed the same problem...

It's not really a bug, because each product can have attributes that adjust the price.

i.e:  You could have picked the 'small red geek shirt' that is slightly cheaper than the 'medium red geek shirt'.

it just seems a bit odd if you're not using product attributes.

I want to raise the question a litle higher then only the Cart module.
Is it not true that a visitor/customer acts straingly if he or she is adding the same product twice (without the sharp remark of calguy1000 taken into consideration). In other words: is such a thing really a bug or a user who is not thinking things through?

In my opinion It is a Bug when is used with PayPAl gateway, because doubled items in cart are shown only once in the PayPal checkout page.
So the buyer is paying only for one product while the order which is emailed to the Admin and the client contains for ex. 3.

Any solution for that?
