Copy Page Re: CMSMS 2.0 (say what now?!)

I've just started playing with CMS Made Simple (latest version, 1.2.5) and am blown away by how many features it has - more than some proprietary apps costing tens of thousands of dollars!

I did a forum search for "copy page" (i.e. making a duplicate of an existing page), and it seems this ability isn't yet available - will it be added to v2.0?

I second that request.

ok, I just registered to say how much I MISS this feature since v 1.0.3, just upgraded to 1.3.1 just to find out there's STILL no copy content feature  :-\
Would be killer if I could just select one page (select checkbox from page list) and everything under that (hierarchically) will copy as well.

Start translating it for example :). I have site running for a client and there's a need for it to be in 3 languages - massive structure, 4 levels of menus etc. Would be painful to do it all from scratch. Or, currently need to redesign one site - basic structure is the same but some changes here and there. Would like to clone the whole thing and then start redoing and playing around on cloned version, while main site still in live. I see the problems with this of course - page aliases can't be same right some clever "add auto number" or something needs to be done I guess...

I totally add a vote in for duplicating pages. maybe there could be little button next to view/edit that you click, and it brings you to the duplicated version of that page in edit mode (this is exactly the same as layout/templates).

First, I have to thank calguy for implementing copy! It is awesome. I love it. It saves me a lot of time. However, as axxe16 notes below, the ability to copy a group of pages would be AWESOME! I currently have a site that has tons of upload pages all categorized by different software versions for the documentation. This means I have lots of duplication between "versions" for sets of pages.

It would save me a ton of time having the ability to copy a "group of pages" together and then delete what I don't need later. :-)

Again, calguy, thanks for implementing the copy feature we have today...I am spending less time updating my site than I was before each time a new version is added to the product on the site. :-)

I too would love to copy multiple pages.

Is there any easy SQL statement that I could run that would do the same ??
