How can I assign different styles to each dropdown menu parent li's?

Post by eluminous »

Hi all

This really is a unique cms that does require almost a complete rethink of how it is customised (well for me anyway) compared to nearly all other standard php systems.

I have been reading and searching for hours and cant work out how to implement this with cmsms: I want to assign a different background image to each horizontal drop-down menu parent li item. If could just work out the method to attach a unique id to each of the six parent nav items, then I would be right. Is this possible?

I have imported the cssmenu.tpl file into the database and created a custom version to edit. Is anybody able to offer some knowledge? I am not a php wiz but I can get my way around the logic.

Just curious to know if people think this would be more difficult to achieve than most things.

If anybody has any thoughts either way about the complexity that would be involved I would love to hear them.  :D
