How to create XML for module release?

i would like to upload a XML for my project. I've already registered the project and it has been approved. How can I create XML installation file for my module. I did not find this information.

I export XML file from listmodules.php of server with my module

As alby wrote just use Admin -> Erweiterungen -> Module and then use the xml-icon of your module.

Next question: is it possible that my module is shown in Module Manager in "Available Modules"? Must it be adiitionally approved for it?

SOLVED: it is already there, I had just to "reset the local cache of repository data" in Preferences of Module Manager.

Another problem. I added my module http://dev.cmsmadesimple.org/projects/icmsms/ into 3 categories:
Users & Permissions
Utilities
Miscellaneous

But it is not listed in any of categories above. Why?

SOLVED: today the module is listed. I do not know if it had to be approved additionally or some cron jobs done in the night
