Help with the Cataloger module!

Hi All,

I have successfully setup a catalog of job vacancies for this particular site (refer below).

How do I setup the "Recently Added Feature List" in the "New Job Openings" box of the below page (home)?

I have tried using the suggested code in the manual (below), but is not retrieving the items from the catalog? If you view the source the script is being executed but their is no data.
{cms_module module='Cataloger' sub_template='Item-CSS-based' action='recent'}

Am I better off trying to manipulate the news module to do the job of the jobs catalog?

I tried this code too, but it never showed data. I have spent days searching around to solve couple of cataloger issues but it seems like Cataloger is not very popular module. Mostly posts remain unanswered.
