Indexing content with search module results in an error 500

Post by simb »

Hi,

when I click the button to re-index all content in the search module I get an server error 500. I think this is due a timeout for php scripts. I can't modify the php.ini as hosted at a low budget hoster.

Has someone the same problem? Does someone know a workaround? It seems that my phpMyAdmin application has a longer timeout, so if I had the SQL-statements I could try to enter them directly into the database.

Ty for any hint
Pierre M.

CMS Made Simple 1.2.4 "Greenland"
What do you mean with context? Just clicked on "reindex" in the search module. Now I can't access /admin/moduleinterface.php?module=ModuleManager anymore. I get also a 500 error.

I have no access to the error logs on this host. I dont get any valueable information in the error msg itself.

What values on install/upgrade? This page is productive since a few month and I just pasted german stopwords into the text area of the search module and therefore wanted to re-index the content. Since then I get this error.

Did I miss even more information?

Update: when I call /admin/moduleinterface.php after I tried to re-index, I get a real error msg:

Code: Select all

Fatal error: Call to a member function on a non-object in /homepages/33/d127663266/htdocs/cmsmadesimple/admin/moduleinterface.php on line 120
