Hi,
Just finalised my website, made with CMSMS. I love to hear your opinion. So start voting.

I love your opinion
Re: I love your opinion
Looks really nice! Only minor objection is that the arrow on the Portfolio link in the menu is pointing to the right, but the menu expands to the left....

Re: I love your opinion
You are absolutly right. Sometimes your blind for obvious things because you made them yourself.
I will fix it soon.
Thanks.

Re: I love your opinion
How nice to talk about SEO on your site while building your site with old tables and crappy HTML
Your site ain't even have a doctype and it's full of errors
But who am I to judge? your site looks ok.

I'm in the top 10 with several keywords with several clients.
Some are listed number 1.
You'r right about the tables and stuff. Will be fixed next year.
Also CMSMS does some strange things sometimes, I think.

Re: I love your opinion
Code: Select all
Error Line 12 column 6: end tag for element "HEAD" which is not open.
</head>
The Validator found an end tag for the above element, but that element is not currently open. This is often caused by a leftover end tag from an element that was removed during editing, or by an implicitly closed element (if you have an error related to an element being used where it is not allowed, this is almost certainly the case). In the latter case this error will disappear as soon as you fix the original problem.
- So somewhere a closing head tag pops up.
- Also (but this is tinyMCE issue propably)- it messes up the body tags, and generates to much code.
Don't get me wrong. I'm very happy with CMSMS and accept the fact that sometimes there are small issues. chanced my sentence in the last post.
-----------------
I'm writing a 'legal issue' letter at the moment so I'm a bit fired-up right now.

Pretty. I assum its about gasoline then?
Of course, if you want to see a site that validates XHTML 1.0 Transitional (can do strict but for some darned plugin code) and CSS2 then you have to go no further than here:
http://d81314.i50.quadrahosting.com.au
Patricia, that happens ot be my new laucnh site btw.
Also, one word about SEO:
If you build it (a valid site with semantic markup), they will come.
I've never had to register with a search engine in my life to get top rankings. And I will NEVER resort to hidden keywords and other hijinx in order to get there!

Re: I love your opinion
Transfered my business site from CMSMS to Joomla. So it needs some changes in CSS and so.
CMSMS is easy. But after I learned Joomla it's even better, however far more difficult to learn. Lot's of easy addons and so on. And I think it is better to concentrate on 1 thing.
However I enjoyed CMSMS and it has a easy set-up for client that only neeed to change text in their site. I will still advice peolple that want to build a 'static' cms website to use CMSMS. It's really easy to start with.
Have still some sites that run CMSMS. I will continue to use CMSMS for them.
