Hi
I have just noticed that on one site the Global content blocks is broken in that when I submit new content or editing content after pressing the submit button just a blank page appears and it does not change the content. It is possible to add new content but same blank page appears after submit. I have rolled back both the files version is 1.2.3 and the database but I do not know when or how this issue arose.
All and any help ideas much appreciated.
Global Content Broken
Re: Global Content Broken

Re: Global Content Broken
Hi Pierre
Thanks for the reply. It is not a hosting issue as these are on my own servers, it was because of a database corruption of 2 of the tables some how. Even though I repaired these every time I then used Global Content it would be blank again after submitting and if I ran a check on the database would get myisamchk: warning: 1 client is using or hasn't closed the table properly.
This is about as far as my knowledge goes so I am not sure if this points to a possible bug in CMS MS or a specific MySQL problem.
I managed to get around this by rolling the database back 5 days but I don't know what caused it in the first place.
I am using MySQL 5.0.27 and PHP 5.2.1-1

Re: Global Content Broken
hey applejack, i had a similar issue after i installed the archiver module. are you using archiver? could be that.
Take a penny, leave a penny.
Re: Global Content Broken
Hi Mike
Yes I think it could well be because of Archiver as I did install this at around the time when the database must have screwed up.
Thanks for the tip. This should be reported as a bug.
