[SOLVED] Can't access Install Wizard

Help with getting the CMS CORE package up and running. This does not include 3rd party modules, PHP scripts, anything downloaded via module manager or from any external source.

[SOLVED] Can't access Install Wizard

Post by Peli »

Hi, I'm using Freehostia.com as my free host, and I was wondering if you guys could help me set this up, my first time trying to install.

Problem:  I cannot access the install wizard.

Where i'm at so far:  I followed all the steps in the Quick PHP Installation Documentation and I'm currently stuck on step 7.

More info:  It tells me to:
cmsmadesimple.org - documentation wrote: Now, in your browser, type the URL of the directory where you put the files (step 3), e.g. http://www.yoursite.com/index.php. This should take you to the installation wizard. If it doesn't, go to http://www.yoursite.com/install/index.php
When I try this on my site addres using this url:

http://www.abcg.freehostia.com/index.php
or
http://www.abcg.freehostia.com/install.index.php

I get Either:

1. Nothing (My broswer just displayes the typical error)
2. I get some add website with popups
3. Some error that says there's a problem on line 22 of index.php

Note:  If you're wondering why I get 3 different results, it's because I tried different things and pretty much those are the outcomes.

Please help. :)

this is not a cmsms problem. but rather a problem with your hosting, you will need to contact your hosting provider or try google.

Your domain is not accessible. No CMSMS related.
