Possible to update local copy then upload to live site?

For questions and problems with the CMS core. This board is NOT for any 3rd party modules, addons, PHP scripts or anything NOT distributed with the CMS made simple package itself.

Possible to update local copy then upload to live site?

Is there a way to have a copy of the web site locally and upload to the live site once changes have been made?

I'm finding that editing on the live site is too slow when I'm dealing with hundreds of pages .  Loading each page and saving it seems to take at least 5-10 seconds, which becomes a pain after a while.
