weird errors started popping up

I had the CMS Made simple set up properly,  and it was working great, but today when I checked it, it's displaying:

Warning: fread() [function.fread]: Length parameter must be greater than 0 in /var/www/vhosts/....edited....com/httpdocs/iki/lib/classes/class.contentoperations.inc.php on line 508

at its main page, and when I click on a page that we had added, I get:

Can anyone help with these error messages?
Btw, I checked on the disk, and that include file, the one with nasty characters in it, is indeed missing from the disk.

have you changed anything? has your host changed anything?

try clearing the cache

Thanks! Indeed clearing the cache did the trick.. Um, should I be clearing this cache daily?
Or, why does it need to be cleared at all I wonder..

i only clear the cache when something isnt working or looks like this..
