Searching through the forums I found a couple of suggested solutions, but none of them have worked for me. I've tried these forum links http://forum.cmsmadesimple.org/index.ph ... l#msg17031, and http://forum.cmsmadesimple.org/index.ph ... 908.0.html, but I can't get them to work.
The slow pages that use CMSms are located here: www.itracedesigns.com/index.php (I haven't figured out how to set up the menu yet), and I have each of those pages as HTML here: www.itracedesigns.com/index.html.
My host provider is Start Logic. I'm on a shared server (I think). If it's my host providers fault, then what can I do?
CMSms Is SLOW. My CMS is slow. My website is slow. Everything is slow.

I think it's your host provider... either they're overloaded or their database is overloaded or something.
but it's not CMS made simple.

Ok... So what do I do now? Should I switch host providers? Tell my host provider that the site is running slow and hope they can solve it? Any suggestions?
Thanks

You could try talking to your host, but, given that they've probably overloaded/oversold their services and/or MySQL server, I wouldn't expect them to do much to rectify the situation. Still, it's worth a shot, if only to avoid moving everything.
For me, I would most definitely be changing hosts.

did you find out why your website is running slow? all our websites seem to run slow.
We have a dedicated windows server 2008, very fast internet connection. MYSQL db on same server and not a lot of websites on the server. our website is www.smartitsupport.com
any suggestions would be appreciated.
would moving to a linux server make a big difference?

Re: CMSms Is SLOW. My CMS is slow. My website is slow. Everything is slow.
To both: much like already described it is a server issue that is causing your site to be slow. Possibly too much running on that server without enough available resources (usually memory). These things are unfortunately not part of the CMSMS scope.
@smartit: Absolutely switching to Linux will help you out. Linux is known to have far less overhead resource usage.

If all else fails, use a bigger hammer.
