Search Plugins for Firefox 2, Firefox 3 Topic is solved

Hello!
I have created 2 plugins for firefox.
1. use the forum search
2. use google to search the forum

i named them:
1. cms-made-simple-forum.xml
2. cms-made-simple-forum-google.xml

i dont know how it is in english windows but in german windows i put the plugins in:

C:\Dokumente und Einstellungen\\Anwendungsdaten\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\\searchplugins

Mod Edit: English: C:\Documents and Settings\\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\\searchplugins


on linux it is similar:

//.mozilla/firefox//searchplugins

Create "searchplugins" folder if not exist. Close and reopen browser

for the mods: if this post is in the wrong place, please move it because i didnt know where to post it.

since the forum is moving to another server, can somebody of the dev team add the search engine to the html header of the forum?



this tag will give a firefox (and google chrome! and IE7?) user the possibility to add the search engine and search the forum with it.

The second thing that would be nice if the forum could get a favicon as the normal homepage [done!]

It seems that the xml plugins did not follow the server dance 2010-2011, is it possible to put them back ? Or maybe someone still has them and could re-post them ? I migrate my machines to Linux and forgot to backup these..
