Problem with Text editor

I am running CMSMS on a site I've had for a while (Ridgepoker) - I just had a new siet designed and had it converted to CMSMS, but i am having a few issues I have not seen before.

1. Although my main text areas are a white background, when I go to edit the text areas the background is black and I cannot see what I'm typing - I don't know how to fix this- FIXED


2. If I do not turn off the text editor before saving the file, I get grey bars below my text sections and it distorts my page..


Any help or advice will be appreciated.
