I think Menu Manager and Events Manager (and others, too) should have something like "Module Manager", but for menu/module templates and UDTs, say links to most favourite templates for Menu Manager/UDT associated with the Events (and for UDTs in common), with some sort of description (and picture for detailed view) and possibility to install. Maybe it is not worth it, but then again, the users are not so eager to search and read docs, and anything in the CMSMS install that is "catchy" for the eyes just may reduce the repetitive posts about menus and features...
What do you think? Perhaps the integration can be even more tight, like recommended UDTs which are connected with certain modules and events... Just to improve the way of discovering the power in UDTs/Events/Module collaboration...

Events don't apply, that's for workflow purposes.
UDT's don't really apply, they're not designed to be shared.. if you want to share them you could create a smarty plugin that goes into the /plugins folder.
However, that being said, I had a brainstorm today, that it would be nice (on RARE occasion) to share a UDT, and that could be done with a form that allows it to be exported to a smarty plugin, which could be shared.
if only I had the time. Currently my 'wish list' is just as long as my 'todo' list.

If that was true, there wouldn't be a section "Share your tags here" in User Handbook, and some people show UDTs in forums. I think it would help to speed up adding optional functionality to modules, and prevent reinventing the wheel (especially in the case of UDTs for Events (I think)).
