unable to manage comments

i m unable to activate comments from the admin login..

i gave option as new comments should be approved..

but in comments admin page, i can only see status as "active=false"  and i am not getting the "X" or "Tick" button to activate/inactivate comments.

in user permissions i gave "manage comments" permission to admin..

still the problem there..

No.. still on old host.. not related to transfer

First, let's figure out what we're dealing with.

What version of CMSms?

What version of Comments?  I assume you're talking about the Comments module:

Have you made any modifications, like anything in the tips section here:
http://wiki.cmsmadesimple.org/index.php ... t/Comments

What options do you have selected under Content > Comments > Options (again assuming you're using the Comments module)

Have you tried uninstalling and removing, then reinstalling the Comments module?
