Uploads module - neither uploaded files nor categories shown in frontend

Post by Vin »

Hi,

the title says it clearly - the items are just not showing on the site's page. For example, if I put this tag in the page:

{cms_module module='Uploads' category='all' mode='summary'}

then only the initial header is shown (only one row of the table), no other rows of the table.
Does anybody know what's going on?

I'm on Windows, IIS server, PHP 5.2, MySQL 5.0.45.

Fine, I realized I need to check the "Files in this directory can be listed" checkbox, but when I have uploaded the files into this category, I can't change the listing possibility - it just ends to an Upload module with no content, not affecting the listing. Looks like a bug. Looking in the forge, I found maybe similar to this problem. Anyone can bring more insight to this?

I just uninstalled/re-installed the uploads module

created a category

uploaded a file

changed the category to be 'listable', hit submit

changed it to be 'non-listable', hit submit

changed it to be 'listable', hit submit

and added the uploads tag into a page and all worked fine.

I don't know why, but it does... I realized I was using a subversion (but it was in the tarball package of stable version (1.3.0)!), so I deleted the old version, uploaded the XML version, installed, created a category (with a path), uploaded a file, tried changing the category not to be listable... and it didn't work.

Can't it be a platform issue?
